TYPE OF SOIL : clay-limestone hillsides

GRAPE VARIETIES : 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon

TASTING NOTES : Villa Burdigala presents an attractive robe of a deep ruby, limpid and crystalline. The nose develops aromas of blackcurrants and liquorice with marks of vanilla. A powerful and tannic attack developing grades of redcurrants and berries. This enjoyable wine, well-matured and of excellent constitution goes well with a filet mignon of beef or grilled duck.

To be tasted at between 16° and 18°C.

GRAPE VARIETIES : 50% Sémillon, 50% Sauvignon

TASTING NOTES : The very fine and gently woody nose of Villa Burdigala offers floral, citrus and exotic fruits aromas. Pleasant, full-bodied and robust on the mouth, it presents vanilla notes and develops a rich and unctuous final. To fully appreciate this rounded, rich and wonderfully harmonious wine, serve as an aperitif at a temperature of 10 to 12cC. It also can be tasted with grilled fish.
